The Irish Tenors to Perform at J. Scheidegger Center

J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts welcomes The Irish Tenors just in time for St. Patrick's Day. The Irish Tenors, who have taken the stage at some of the world's most iconic venues, are making their Lindenwood Theater debut. Formed in 1998, the trio of Anthony Kearns, Ronan Tynan, and Declan Kelly have been crowned the Celtic music kings.

Backed by a 27-piece orchestra, the Tenors blend traditional Irish folk music with modern classics. Since they were introduced to American audiences 25 years ago, the Irish Tenors have produced ten best-selling albums, five PBS specials, and delighted millions of concert fans.

"We are thrilled to welcome The Irish Tenors, along with a 27-piece orchestra, to the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts," Vice President for Advancement and Community Engagement Orrie Covert said. "Their worldwide success and Celtic spirit combine to make this a show folks won't want to miss. This show is the perfect way to kick off St. Patrick's Day weekend celebrations." Remaining tickets can be purchased online through the LU Box Office, over the phone by calling (636) 949-4433, or in-person at the J. Scheidegger Center Box Office. The ticket window is open Tuesday-Friday, noon-4 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, the Celtic music kings bring a powerful collection of Emerald Isle classics to the Lindenwood Theater in a show that will prove to be a treat for the whole family.
