Trisha Grantham Wins Alumni Service Award

Trisha Grantham received the Alumni Service Award at the Lindenwood University Gala, in October. Grantham received her MBA from Lindenwood and has since enjoyed a 20-year career in the pharmaceuticals industry. In addition to her career, Grantham proudly dedicates her time to serving her community and family.

The Alumni Service Award recognizes Lindenwood alumni who have demonstrated outstanding service and leadership to the University – whether it be through volunteerism, philanthropy, recruiting, or any other means. Recipients have given significant time, talent, and effort to support the mission of Lindenwood.

Nominated for the award by her daughter, a current Lindenwood student, Grantham appreciates the recognition from her family and peers alike. She recalls seeing former classmates at the Gala and taking in the pride and excitement shown by each of them. Grantham took little time to celebrate the award.

As a National Account Director for AstraZeneca, Grantham spends much of her time traveling for work. In the span of two weeks, Grantham traveled Nashville, Chicago, Florida, and India. Despite the rigorous schedule, Grantham describes the experience as rewarding, knowing she is working to provide medical products to those who are most in need.

Grantham manages to find time in her schedule to give back to her community too. Grantham has served as Vice President of Boosters in the Wentzville School District, a state and regional judge for DECA, supporting her church’s Christmas Shop for low-income families, and contributing to the Patrick A. Shallow Foundation. Grantham was recently asked to co-host a fundraising program for her church. When considering whether she had time in her schedule for this, Grantham said, “I just got an award for service. How can I say no?”

When asked how she is able continually serve her in her career, family, and community, Grantham responded, “you have to have something to believe in and believe in yourself.”
