Human-Centered AI Minor

Lindenwood University offers a comprehensive Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Minor, comprising 18 credit hours of coursework. This minor integrates essential General Education (GE) coursework, which all students are required to complete, with specialized coursework focused on building real-world skills across different media using generative AI technologies.

Students enrolled in this minor will engage with a diverse array of subjects, including generative AI tools, AI applications, and virtual reality. The curriculum is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience, ensuring that students not only understand theoretical concepts but also gain proficiency in applying AI tools in various contexts.

The culminating course in engaged learning synthesizes the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the program. In this final course, students will undertake a real-world project within their major, leveraging the generative AI tools and techniques they have mastered. This integrative approach ensures that students can effectively apply their AI expertise to their primary field of study, enhancing both their academic and professional trajectories.
