Human-Centered AI Minor

Lindenwood University offers a comprehensive Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Minor, comprising 18 credit hours of coursework, with an experiential learning option. This minor integrates essential General Education (GE) coursework, which all students are required to complete, with specialized coursework focused on building real-world skills across different media using generative AI technologies.

• The Human-Centered AI minor uniquely emphasizes practical, real-world applications over intensive mathematics and data science, making it more accessible to a broad range of students.
• Students enrolled in this minor will engage with generative AI tools, AI applications, and virtual reality.
• The curriculum is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience, ensuring that students not only understand theoretical concepts, but also gain proficiency in applying AI tools in various contexts.
• The culminating course in engaged learning synthesizes the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the program. In this final course, students will undertake a real-world project within their major, leveraging the generative AI tools and techniques they have mastered.
