BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY – DEC. 14 THE QUEEN’S CARTOONISTS – NOV. 2 The J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts opened in the fall of 2008 with two sold- out performances by the legendary Liza Minnelli and has been entertaining the St. Louis region ever since. After going dark for 18 months during the pandemic, the Scheidegger Center reopened for the 2021-2022 season to record crowds for great artists such as funk and soul band Tower of Power, jazz master Branford Marsalis, and ventriloquist and impressionist Terry Fator! Located on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., the Scheidegger Center presents high-quality, professional entertainment in an intimate setting, boasting a 1,175-seat theater with a Broadway-style stage, a 200-seat black box theater, and a large art gallery. For 15 years, the Scheidegger Center has provided cultural enrichment to the community with national theater tours, classical and popular music concerts, world-renowned dance, comedy, and celebrity entertainers, as well as hosting student productions by the theatre, dance, and music programs of Lindenwood University.
