FALL DANCE CONCERT — 2022 8 | 9 illuminating the dynamics of its powerfully influential and iconic dances. Beyond Measure Dance Theater has been called “a pre- eminent Afro-Fusion Dance Company!” Its members have received accolades for their technique, artistry, and musicality. Traditional and creative music are vital to Beyond Measure as well as commu- nity engagement. Since 2009, Beyond Measure Dance Theater has an annual production, community involvement and international. Continuing to live up to their reputation of being a powerful & dynamic performance company, BMDT provides educational oppor- tunities in dance for all ages and abilities. Williams. Aliciasunshine.com. LOGAN GUERRA (STUDENT) is a junior at Lindenwood University pursuing a BFA degree with an emphasis in contemporary dance. Logan trained in contemporary, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap during his time at Lindenwood and with the Alma Dance Program in his hometown of Alma, Arkansas before college. Logan has also been a member of the Lionettes dance team at Lindenwood and was, alongside his team, named Division II jazz national champions for the 2021-2022 year. MINAMI KIKUCHI (STUDENT) of Tokyo, Japan is a junior at Lindenwood University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. Minami began dancing at the age of three, training originally at Lufairy Ballet, before changing her focus to modern/contemporary, where she studied under Izumi Miyamura and Kyoko Makino. Minami then began choreographing at 15, showcasing her first original work at Jissen Girls school of Tokyo. She continued choreographing until she left Japan at age 19. Her first choreographic endeavor in the United States was in the 2022 Synergy Informal Dance Concert, where she premiered “Inquisitiveness.” During her time in the Lindenwood University Dance Program, she has taken advantage of opportunities to perform in the annual Informal, Fall, Winter and Spring dance concerts. She also traveled with Lindenwood University to perform works in the 2021 American College Dance Association Conference as well as St. Louis National Dance Week Festival and The Big Muddy Dance Festival. Most recently, Minami performed a solo in the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Memorial in Boston, Massachusetts.
