Lindenwood University Spring Dance Concert, 2022

SPR ING DANCE CONCERT — 2022 12 | 13 While completing her degree in Chemistry, working in some labs, and later completing her Masters in Business Administration, she danced in RACE Dance Collective. There she performed works by the likes of Jeremy Duvall, Will Johnston, Adam Parson, Malaya, Destini Rogers, and more, as well as touring to Los Angeles with a selected work by Hui Cha Poos. After four years, she became Managing Director, where she provided artistic and administrative direction for all productions. Audrey has had the great opportunity to choreo- graph on all three of Oklahoma City’s professional dance companies to critical acclaim, as well as the University of Central Oklahoma’s Kaleidoscope Dance company, at Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival, and many local immersive theater productions and musi- cals. She has directed award-winning collaborative filmed works with many musicians including Onyx Lane Productions, LABRYS, and Mt. Terror, and choreographed numbers within the feature-length film Finding Carlos, released in 2020. In her new hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, she hopes to continue producing works, collaborating with fellow artists, and advocating for art as a pillar of cultural strength. MEGAN MAYER is a senior BFA in Dance with an emphasis in Contemporary candidate and will graduate in May 2022. She began her dance training at the Professional Dance Center study- ing tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop. Growing up she per- formed with The MUNY, EKHO Entertainment, Dance STL, and Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation, where she was awarded the Fromm Family Dance Award for Dance Performance as a finalist in the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. Megan is also a member of St. Louis’ only professional tap company, MoSTLy Tap. Other recent performance credits include American Tap Dance Foundation’s Something’s A’Foot!, TAPN2TAP Concert, St. Louis Rhythm Collaborative’s In Due Time, and Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis Dead Man’s Party, in addition to performing as the featured tap dancer with St. Charles Big Band. Her choreographic work has been presented in Lindenwood University Dance Concerts, Lindenwood University Student Research Conference, Woodshed Experience, Seen: STL, the American College Dance Association, and with
