SPR ING DANCE CONCERT — 2022 4 | 5 A NOTE FROM THE PROGRAM COORDINATOR Welcome to the 2022 Spring Dance Concert! As our 2021-2022 academic dance concert series concludes, I am reflecting on the creative and collective energy of our students. On stage, their dedication to representing a choreographer’s vision is motivating and admirable. However, it is their contributions to the community here at Lindenwood, off the stage, that will leave a profound mark beyond the curtain. The Lindenwood University Dance Program is a truly an exceptional space: filled with supportive artists who promote change for the collective whole, have meaningful conversations about the impact of the arts, and challenge the group to continually exceed expectations. They support the work of upcoming artists in other programs, volunteer to assistant teach adaptive dance classes in the community, serve as ambassadors for the broad student body, and contribute to the campus culture through the creation and delivery of unique and meaningful events for students and the St. Charles community. This impact persists because of our student’s willingness to go on that journey. The seniors, whose work you’ll see tonight, deserve so much praise for their influences to continue in this positive direction. For all the years of hard work and dedication, let’s celebrate our seniors, and the underclassmen who look up to them, for all they have impacted!
