Dr. Robert Allen
Robert Allen is an Associate Dean and Professor of Management. Prior to his current position, where he taught at the university level for 12 years, Allen had 25 years of experience in Retail Management with various firms. His corporate career included a variety of management positions in both merchandising, new store construction and personnel development. He has first-hand experience in the following areas: team building, performance appraisal, capital budgeting, operations budgeting, merchandising, new store development, and employee training and development. Allen earned Doctor of Business Administration (Nova Southeastern University), Master of Business Administration (University of Missouri: Columbia), and Bachelor of Science in Economics (Missouri Valley College) degrees. He oversees the Plaster College of Business Entrepreneurial Studies, Human Resource Management, Health Management, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, NPA, ROTC, and Sport Management programming. His research interests include management history, strategic planning, and online program administration.
