Foliotek Policies and Procedures
All students enrolled in any College of Education and Human Services program must purchase Foliotek, a tool for continuous improvement and data collection.
Students will submit assignments which measure student proficiency (as determined by the instructor), field placement, Practicum, Internship I, Internship II and Behavior Analysis Fieldwork requests and applications to teacher education and student teaching using Foliotek. By following a link in each course, students will be directed to purchase Foliotek. This link is the only way to purchase a Foliotek linking to Lindenwood University’s College of Education and Human Services coursework.
Assignments submitted to Foliotek will provide school-wide evidence of student achievement and mastery of standards that align with certification, accreditation standards, and Program Learning Outcomes (PLO). Instructors will score specified assignments using a rubric that aligns to the standards and outcomes.
Students who are not in a College of Education and Human Services program but are enrolled in a course that requires a Foliotek submission do not have to purchase Foliotek. However, if the instructor of the course awards points for an assignment that was uploaded to Foliotek, an equivalent opportunity for the same amount of points must be offered to those students who are not COEHS students.
Student questions about how to access Foliotek or how to upload assignments should be directed to student advisors or the ARCC.
- All students will use Foliotek to submit key program assessments, artifacts, applications, and evaluations.
- All students will typically purchase Foliotek through Canvas during the first semester in which students are enrolled in their program of study.
- All students should check with their content major advisor for details about when and how to purchase Foliotek.
