All students seeking certification as a school counselor must complete a Missouri Standards in Foliotek. Foliotek is a primary tool used to assess student attainment of Program standards. The primary components of the Foliotek include artifacts for the 5 MOSPE Standards. Missouri school counseling content exams, evaluations, and a resume. Foliotek is completed electronically using Foliotek, an online Foliotek management system. Due to the complexity of the Foliotek, students are encouraged to develop their Foliotek project throughout their program of study.

Certification Exam

Students seeking certification as a School Counselor in Missouri must successfully complete the Missouri Content Assessment (test code 056).
