The Human Resources Division's purpose is to support the University's efforts in providing a quality education and experience for all Lindenwood students. We achieve this by facilitating and supporting the selection and retention of highly qualified and diverse employees to serve our students and by providing for the professional success and the personal wellness of our employees.

    • Full-Time faculty and staff enjoy FREE tuition upon hire! Free bachelors- and masters-level courses for employees and their spouse (tax stipulations apply).
    • Dependent children (under age 26) of full-time faculty and staff are eligible for free tuition as an undergraduate student (food and housing rates apply).
    • Full-time faculty and staff receive discounted doctoral tuition rates.
    • Part-time adjunct instructors and staff enjoy DISCOUNTED tuition upon hire! Discounted undergraduate tuition ($100 discount per credit hour) applies to part-time employees, their spouse, and their dependents under 26 years old (food and housing rates apply).

Paid Time Off for Full-Time Faculty and Staff

In addition to accruing vacation and sick time, full-time faculty and staff receive the following paid time off:

  • Nine paid holidays per calendar year, to include approximately 16 additional paid days off:
    • New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; Juneteenth; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Break (Wed.-Fri.); and Winter Break (12/23-12/31)
  • One additional day of paid time off per year to participate in Lindenwood’s community service organization, LindenGiving!

  • Lindenwood matches up to 5% of employee's salary on the 403(b) pre-tax option of the plan (waiting period stipulations apply).
