Medical Benefits
Lindenwood University offers employer-sponsored medical insurance benefits through United Health Care’s Choice Plus Network. Members have nationwide coverage and the freedom to choose physicians and specialists without a primary care provider referral.
Employees can elect medical coverage as a new hire, during annual Open Enrollment periods, or within 30 days of a qualifying life event.
Coverage Tiers
Employees can elect coverage in three (3) tiers – Employee Only, Employee +1, or Family (Employee + 2 or more dependents).
Spousal carve-out is built into the medical plan only. If your spouse is eligible for medical insurance through their employer, they are automatically ineligible to be added to our medical plan.

Monthly costs vary based on coverage tier and wellness program participation.

Dental Benefits
Voluntary dental insurance is provided by Delta Dental. Delta Dental provides nationwide coverage with more than 154,000 dentists and members have access to PPO, Premier, and non-participating providers. Members realize greater savings with PPO providers.
