Evaluations
The success of the university is based on the collective performance of each employee. Employee evaluation provides a snapshot of organizational norms, and helps to define performance expectations related to the mission, goals, and intended outcomes set forth by the university. Performance evaluation is formative and summative in that the process provides a pathway for improvement, as well as, a medium through which employment decisions are evaluated and determined. The formative improvement process is ongoing, and it includes self-reflection, performance feedback, collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, goal setting, and professional development. Summative evaluation is the summation and final assessment of all that transpired during the formative phase of the evaluation process. Continuous improvement and performance development delivery models for enrichment and remediation will take on various forms.
Delivery models will include:
- Support to individuals, along with small and large groups.
- Direct services such as mentoring, coaching, instruction, and training.
- Facilitation of collaborative and cooperative development among peers.
- Scholarly research. Online and on-ground.
