As the most critical resource of the institution, employees are safeguarded through ongoing attention to procedures that foster workplace health and safety. Lindenwood partners with Missouri Employers Mutual (MEM) and the Hays Group to deliver this valuable information. MEM works with the Lindenwood Safety and Health Committee to offer Tool-Box Talks (Train the Trainer) to incentivize safety with the most vulnerable employees. Job specific safety training is also provided to employees through SafeColleges.
SKILLSOFT:
SkillSoft provides compliance and safety training specific to higher education. Employees will be required to take different trainings on various topics throughout the year.
ACTIVE SHOOTER, 4 E'S TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES
On behalf of the Lindenwood Learning Academy, Public Safety & Security will be hosting two opportunities for the Active Shooter, 4 E’s training for all employees. These trainings will be held in Dunseth Auditorium in Harmon Hall and will allow attendees to participate in a situational active shooting event, where they will gain hands-on experience on how to respond should they ever find themselves in this situation. If you have not attended in the past, you are encouraged to register and attend. Space is limited to 30 people in each session.
