Call of the Wild: Illustrated Edition is a multi-media adventure that mixes classic story telling with projected illustrations to tell the story of Buck, a St. Bernard–Scotch Collie mix. Kidnapped from his home in California and sent to work as a sled dog in Alaska, Buck fights to survive and becomes a legend in the Klondike.
From Theatre Heroes, the show uses a 180-degree projection screen that surrounds the performer and brings Jack London’s classic novel to life. It features a unique mix of classical illustrations from the book with brand new drawings and animations created by artist Michael Rae and live score from award winning singer-songwriter Graham Weber.
Recommended for grades 4–12.
