Library Services offers laptops and other technology rentals to current students at Lindenwood University.
Laptop polices are as follows:
- Daily Loans: Due back the same day borrowed. No renewals. $10/hr (1 hour grace period). Chargers are billed separately. Fine continues to $900 max limit.
- Weeklong Loans: Due back 7 days from borrow date. No renewals. Students may reserve another laptop after return of the currently checked out laptop on the patron account. Overdue and excessively late returns require a meeting with Access Services Manager to continue eligibility for Weeklong Loans.
To check out a laptop, students must present a valid student ID and upon the patron’s first laptop checkout of the school year, he/she will sign a technology agreement form detailing the responsibilities of the student while the laptop is in their possession. Library Services will keep the loan agreement form on file for one school year. Library Services’ laptops are not available for staff, faculty, or alumni checkout. Other technology available for rental through Library Services include:
- Headphones
- Webcams
- Listening Devices for use in LARC classrooms
- Graphing Calculators
- USB SD Card Readers
- Laptops
