For many students, that dream can be delayed or destroyed simply because that final piece, funding, runs out prior to graduation, often when students are within sight of the finish line. In 2016, Lindenwood University launched the Lions’ Reserve Fund to provide a bridge for students to get across the finish line and complete their degrees. Since its launch, more than $550,000 has been raised for the Lions’ Reserve. More recently, in light of the success of the Lions’ Reserve, the Lynx Reserve was created to assist students in need at the Lindenwood University-Belleville campus. Since the 2016-17 academic year, awards have been granted to 44 students, 32 of which graduated by fall 2018. All but four had graduated by spring 2019. Donors can support students with financial setbacks by giving or pledging a gift. Through philanthropic giving and support from our donors, students at Lindenwood University will have the opportunity to accomplish their educational dreams. By giving to the Lions’ Reserve and Lynx Reserve funds, donors can help to ease the financial struggles of students seeking to complete their degrees.
