Academic Program Review

Purpose

Lindenwood University, in accordance with the Higher Learning Commission’s (HLC) Criterion 4, Core Component A1 “ensures the quality of its educational offerings…[by maintaining] a practice of regular program reviews and acts upon its findings.” At Lindenwood University this quality assurance occurs within the academic program review processes.

Scope

This policy applies to all degree and certificate-granting academic programs and co-curricular programs, including all instructional methods (traditional, online, and blended).

Policy

All degree and certificate-granting academic programs and co-curricular programs will engage in annual program review and cyclical (quinquennial) program review. Every 7 years, the University conducts a review of the entire program portfolio. Access schedules, processes, templates, and results can be found on the University website.
