Winter Dance Concert 2022
WINTER DANCE CONCERT — 2022 12 | 13 ZOELLE AZURWILLIAMS from Springfield, Missouri, began her serious dance training at Ann’s Performing Arts Centre. At nine years old, she auditioned for the company and competed regionally and nationally in various dance competitions and conventions. In high school, Zoelle danced on the Kickapoo Golden Girls’ dance team and held a captain position. Zoelle started her first year of college at Oklahoma City University as a Universal Dance Major. When the Covid-19 Pandemic hit, she took a semester off of school to work at her aunt’s studio, Jami Masters School of Dance, Ltd, in Charlotte, North Carolina. There she found a love for teaching dance to children of all ages. After six months of training, teaching, assisting, and working behind the scenes, she transferred to Lindenwood University to pursue a BFA Dance Degree with an emphasis in Jazz. Since attending LU, Zoelle has per- formed in two LUDP concerts and danced on the Lion Line Dance Team. This concert will feature her first piece of choreography on stage.
