We are a community engaged campus. In collaboration with diverse partners, we seek a more equitable and sustainable world. Our students and faculty bring to the table a thriving culture of research, knowledge exchange, and creative activity. We know that we have a lot to learn from encountering the people in our community and we are grateful to be a first-choice partner for creative educational opportunities.
Center for Engaged Learning
Engaged learning at Lindenwood University gives students hands-on opportunities to engage academically outside of the classroom, through activities such as study abroad, internships and service learning.
Academic Partnerships / Bridge Partnerships
We value forming relationships with organizations, institutions, schools, and communities who can share in our mission of enhancing lives through quality education and professional preparatory experiences. We have experience in working with K-12 partners in programs such as Early College Academy, Missouri Boys and Girls State, and Boys and Girls Club. We partner with businesses to enhance capacity and develop talent. We also work with institutions of higher education around the globe and in our backyard to help students thrive in the educational and cultural offerings at Lindenwood.
Office of Research and Creative Activity
The Office for Research and Creative Activity (ORCA) is dedicated to creating a culture of service and collaboration, inspiring LU to be intellectually curious, ethically engaged, community minded, and globally conscious.
Digital Commons
The archives seeks to centralize access to all university publications, minutes, and reports relating to the university.
Student Academic Showcase
The Student Academic Showcase is an event for students to display their scholarly and creative projects to Lindenwood students and faculty. Students’ work will be featured in poster formats or as presentations in concurrent sessions.
Celebration of Teaching and Learning
To enhance the student experience, a day has been added to the spring schedule for faculty development and professional collaboration. The Celebration of Teaching and Learning Day is an instruction-free day to celebrate the work faculty do as educators. The day will include opportunities for faculty to learn new strategies; it will also be a time to share and celebrate the effective approaches used by Lindenwood faculty to educate and mentor students.
