FWA and IRB Registration Info

Lindenwood University maintains a Federalwide Assurance (FWA) with the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP). An FWA is a commitment to review and approve federally-funded or supported research involving human subjects in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the Belmont Report and in compliance with 45 CFR 46. Documentation of FWA and IRB Registration is available upon request.

Lindenwood IRB Initiatives

The Lindenwood IRB engages a range of activities relevant to its role at Lindenwood University. Our office participates in the enhancement of the ethical conduct of research at the local and national levels by engaging in:

• The Flexibility Coalition, created by University of Southern California - Office for the Protection of Human Subjects (OPRS)
• The SBER Network, hosted by the University of New Mexico, Office of the Institutional Review Board
