What is RIPL?
The Research, Innovation, and Partnership Lab (RIPL) is a collaborative project startup environment for bringing ideas to life at Lindenwood University. RIPL services are available to LU faculty, staff, and students at all stages of research, scholarship, or creative activity development. You may be considering an innovation in campus resources or services. You may be developing your research or scholarly portfolio. You may have a specific idea you would like to connect with research design, project development, and funding resources. The aim of RIPL is to support and accelerate the life cycle of your project.
What Can RIPL do for You?
RIPL provides collaborative, consultation-based access to institutional resources for research, scholarship, and creative activity generally housed in the Office for Research and Creative Activity (ORCA). Inspired by design thinking approaches to problem solving and project development, our services are adaptable to a wide range of ideas and activities. Examples of services include assistance with creating and disseminating surveys, individual or team-based project consultation, research and program evaluation design, strategic funding development, solutions for ethical data collection and management, navigating intellectual property, and custom workshops for LU stakeholders.
