We are currently at work on developing several technical and administrative Research and Service Cores to provide strategic support for key research, scholarship, and creative activity emphases at Lindenwood University. Each Core will include dedicated LU Faculty Fellows to provide specific expertise in the RIPL environment.
The following Cores are currently under construction and applications for Fellows will be announced soon:
Evaluation and Design Core
Evaluation and design consultation includes technical assistance in research design, survey or qualitative data collection, evaluation plans, development of effective outcomes for statistical analysis, and formalizing the evaluation sections of grant applications.
Community Engaged Research Core
Community Engagement is an essential element of thriving university research, scholarship, and creative activity cultures. This Core can assist in creating an element of community engagement in the scope and design of your project and connect you with potential community partners. For researchers, this Core can assist in Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) design, which aims to enhance the role of research participants and their community in the design and implementation of research projects.
Biochemistry and Biobanking Core
Lindenwood University hosts biochemistry resources and technical expertise for projects or funding proposals engaging our analytical environment. This Core also assists in providing ethical and centralized policy, procedure, and access to human tissue and data collected at LU for research purposes.
Dissemination and Implementation Core
Dissemination is the art of sharing the results of your research or project in a way beneficial to society, stakeholders, and academic communities. Implementation is the process of translating the results of your research or project into programs or enhancements of benefit to people associated with your work. This Core can assist in developing dissemination and implementation plans and engaging LU resources for grant applications requiring this information.
