A guide to learning about and performing assessment at Lindenwood
Lindenwood faculty and staff develop, revise, and implement assessment plans within their programs and participate in the institution's General Education Assessment efforts. Lindenwood's assessment guides provide guidelines for carrying out these tasks:
- Academic Program Assessment Guide
- Co-Curricular/Administrative Unit Program Assessment Guide
- General Education Assessment Guide
Faculty and staff have many other opportunities for engaging in and learning about assessment. Each year, hundreds of faculty and staff participate in the Lindenwood Assessment Summit. Lindenwood also strongly encourages faculty and staff interested in further developing their knowledge of assessment practices to consider participating in assessment-related professional development opportunities, including conferences and webinars:
Faculty and staff may also consult the links in the Resources list below for helpful books, journals, and websites. Other lists include links to Lindenwood's learning outcomes (graduate attributes and PLOs), survey data, and assessment reports.
