This interdisciplinary minor is created for students in Business, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics. It allows both mathematics and non-mathematics majors to gain an understanding of how modern mathematics is applied in finance and economics. Students hone their mathematical skills and explore a wide range of analytical tools and financial models to understand the dynamics and variability in financial markets. The minor strengthens the academic portfolio of any student who is looking to pursue a career in investment banking, financial analysis, or related field.
