Advanced students may obtain practical experience in the context of a professional practice setting to enhance opportunities for graduate school admission or employment.
We offer PSY45000: Practicum Experience every semester as well as during the summer. Students complete 150 hours of service for 3 course credits. Students must be preapproved by the course instructor prior to enrollment.
Recent students have completed their practicum experience at elementary schools, senior living communities, outpatient clinics, private practices, residential treatment centers, and non-profit organizations.
For more information about practicum opportunities, please contact Dr. Colleen Biri.
