Located about three-quarters of a mile from Lindenwood University, the Linden Lodge is a former hotel that was turned into a student residence hall. The building and an adjacent parking lot were purchased in 2010 and were put to use by the university that fall.
Located about a mile from Lindenwood’s main campus, the Linden Lodge is home to 116 male and female sophomores, juniors and seniors from a variety of majors, sports, and cultural backgrounds. The Linden Lodge is made-up of spacious single rooms with a private bathroom and equipped with an elevator for students traveling up to the second and third floors. The first and third floors are designated for male students, while the second floor is designated for females. Each resident of Lindenwood University in the Linden Lodge is provided with an extra-long twin bed frame, mattress, three-drawer dresser, desk, chair, closet or wardrobe.
On the main floor of the Linden Lodge, there is a comfortable lounge furnished with couches, tables, chairs, a microwave, pool table and a big screen TV, perfect for dining, studying, and socializing. In addition to the lounge, there is also a laundry facility on the second floor. Microwaves in individual’s rooms are permitted, and students are allowed to have mini-fridges in their rooms. Any additional furniture a resident wishes to bring into their room that compromises the shared space between roommates must be approved by the Residential Community Coordinator of the Linden Lodge.
Linden Loge is complete with all the modern amenities such as air conditioning, new Wi-Fi.
The Linden Lodge is conveniently located adjacent to the Wal-Mart shopping area in St. Charles, and within walking distance of several popular restaurants.
